What is Q-Parts Certification?

Q-Part Certification refers to parts that have been certified by one of the major independent automotive parts certification groups, such as CAPA, Thatcham, TÜV Rheinland or E-Mark. The independent verification process increases the manufacturing expense of the product. What Does Genuine Mean?

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, referring to vehicle manufacturers such as Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, and Renault for example. Parts that are labelled as OEM are parts produced for, or by the OEM, and sold with markings and branding that aligns with the vehicle manufacturer.

How can I tell a part is Genuine?

For example, if you order an OEM/Genuine headlight assembly for your Volkswagen, you will receive a headlight assembly in the Volkswagen branded box, and the part itself will have Volkswagen branding.
