What is Q-Parts Certification?

Why Aftermarket for my vehicle?

Aftermarket parts are built to meet OEM fit, form and function, but the manufacturer has chosen to verify the quality with an internal quality assurance process. The independent verification process increases the manufacturing expense of the product. What Does Genuine Mean?

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, referring to vehicle manufacturers such as Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, and Renault for example. Parts that are labelled as OEM are parts produced for, or by the OEM, and sold with markings and branding that aligns with the vehicle manufacturer.

How can I tell a part is Genuine?

For example, if you order an OEM/Genuine headlight assembly for your Volkswagen, you will receive a headlight assembly in the Volkswagen branded box, and the part itself will have Volkswagen branding. These products will be as originally fitted to your vehicle when it rolled off the factory assembly line.

What do we mean by OES?
